SPD Powder Corona Polarization Instrument

The SPD powder corona polarization instrument is a kind of electrode polarization treatment equipment specially designed for powdery ferroelectric/piezoelectric materials.

Its core is to use the high-intensity ion flow generated by corona discharge to apply a DC high-voltage electric field to loose or slightly compacted powder samples, so that the electric domains (spontaneous polarization regions in ferroelectric materials) inside them are oriented along the direction of the electric field, thereby activating the piezoelectric, pyroelectric or nonlinear optical properties of the materials.
