Founded in 2013, we focus on developing and manufacturing instruments for electrical characterization of materials under extreme conditions.
With over ten invention patents, we are a leading company in China’s functional material preparation and electrical testing field, and have built an internationally recognized technology system for material electrical measurements.
We provide advanced dielectric impedance spectroscopy systems and a series of electrical testing instruments, delivering high-precision data for industries such as piezoelectric ceramics and functional materials.
ODM customization is available. Our testing center is located in Wuhan.
Our History
MatMeas represents the global evolution of BALAB (Partulab), launched in 2025 from our Shenzhen International Business Headquarters to serve the worldwide scientific community with precision electrical characterization solutions. Born from over a decade of innovation rooted in Wuhan since 2013, our journey began with a singular mission to bridge technological gaps in functional materials testing—developing proprietary breakthroughs including our patented three-ring electrode method (2019) and magnetic fluid sealing technology (2021) that revolutionized high-temperature measurement accuracy.
Recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise (2016), Hubei Province Hidden Champion Cultivation Enterprise (2019), and subsequently honored as both a Wuhan SRCC (Specialized, Refined, Characteristic, Novel) Enterprise and Hubei Province Manufacturing Single-item Champion (2024), we have established undisputed domestic leadership across dielectric, piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and resistivity characterization systems.
The 2023 inauguration of our 1,200㎡ Materials Testing Center and Academician Workstation marked our strategic transformation from pure equipment manufacturing to comprehensive “Equipment + Service” solutions, further solidified by our Suzhou branch establishment (2024) and Graduate Student Workstation to deepen industry-academia collaboration. Today, as MatMeas, we channel twelve years of technical excellence—from our 10th anniversary milestones to our latest innovations—into delivering world-class measurement instrumentation that empowers advanced materials research across the globe.

Our Team
At MatMeas, we believe that precision measurement begins with a passionate team. Spanning our Shenzhen international headquarters and R&D centers in Wuhan and Suzhou, our interdisciplinary team of nearly 100 professionals—including electrical engineers, materials scientists, and application specialists—is united by a shared mission to bridge the gap between complex material behaviors and precise measurement data.
Armed with a robust portfolio of over 30 invention patents, our research and development team has pioneered core technologies such as Virtual Ground measurement technology, the three-ring electrode method, and magnetic fluid sealing systems, setting new industry benchmarks with extreme-environment testing precision at 1,650°C and piezoelectric characterization capabilities with 0.01 pC/N resolution.
Complementing this technical excellence, our applications scientists collaborate closely with world-leading universities and research institutions—including Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences—delivering comprehensive, end-to-end support from sample preparation and method development to data interpretation through our 1,200㎡ ISO-standard testing facility.
