Testing Function
The Length Extensional Vibration Mode refers to the vibration mode in which a bar-shaped piezoelectric resonator generates extensional vibrations along the length direction when subjected to an external alternating electric field.
Testing Principle
Testing Conditions
1. Test Parameters: k₃₁, k₃₃, Qₘ, εᵣ₃ᵀ, N₁, v₁ᴱ, s₁₁ᴱ, s₁₁ᴰ, d₃₃, g₃₁, fs, fp, fr, fa, fm, fn
2. Temperature Range: −150 °C – 450 °C, RT – 1000 °C, RT – 1650 °C
3. Frequency Range: 100 Hz – 30 MHz
4. Temperature Deviation: ±1 °C
5. Heating/Cooling Rate: 1 °C/min – 10 °C/min
Sample Requirements
1. Recommended sample dimensions: 30 mm × 5 mm × 1 mm
2. For capacitance and dielectric loss measurements, the electric field strength ≤ 5 V/mm, frequency = 1 kHz
3. For series resonance frequency and dynamic resistance measurements, the electric field strength ≤ 30 mV/mm
4. The test sample should be a strip specimen, with both surfaces fully coated with a metallic layer serving as electrodes. Polarization treatment should be performed along the thickness direction, and the storage time after polarization shall not be less than 2 hours. (BALAB Technology provides electrode coating services.)
5. The specimen shall be kept clean and dry.
